Capacity and waiting list

Every class has a capacity: the number of places per session. When a session is full, it closes, or people join a waiting list if you have turned it on.

Capacity

Set "Capacity" on the class. The booking page shows how many places are left, and booking closes when the session is full.

Waiting list (free classes)

• Tick "Allow waiting list" on the class.
• When a session is full, people can still sign up: they are put on the waiting list and get an email saying so.
• When someone cancels, the earliest waiting-list booking that fits in the freed place is confirmed automatically, and that person gets a confirmation email.

Paid classes

Paid classes close when full, even with the waiting list ticked, because people pay when they book. If a paid session sells out, add another session.

Open bookings later

"Bookable X days in advance" keeps sessions closed until that many days before they start, for example so a weekly class only opens a week ahead.
