Free sign-up page for language cafés, meetups and community events

Community events are often free but still need limits: a café table seats twelve, a room holds thirty. A sign-up page tells you who is coming, stops the event from overflowing and lets you email everyone if plans change.

Typical events

• Language cafés and conversation groups
• Book clubs
• Tech and professional meetups
• Talks, readings and community evenings

How to set it up with BookMyClass

1. Create the event as a class, with the venue as location.
2. Add the recurring dates, for example every second Thursday.
3. Set the capacity to what the venue can hold and turn on the waiting list.
4. Leave it free, or set a small price if there is a fee for the venue or a drink.
5. Share the link in your community channels.

Tips

• People book with just their email, which keeps the threshold low for newcomers.
• With free events, the free plan includes 100 sign-ups every 30 days and up to 30 places per event. Bigger or more frequent events need Pro (99 SEK / €8 a month): unlimited free sign-ups and up to 150 places.
• If you mainly run large one-off free events, a dedicated event platform may suit you better; BookMyClass is built for recurring, smaller events.
